Finished PC build issue, PLEASE HELP
Hoping someone here has seen this issue or has some good thoughts.
Mobo - GIGABYTE X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE
CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU - Sapphire Pure 9070xt
PSU - ASROCK SL-100G
RAM - CORSAIR Vengeance RGB DDR5 (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30-36-36-76(CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30W)
SSD - Samsung 990 pro 2tb m.2
Thermalright CORE Vision 360 (replaced stock fans)
Case fans - AsiaHorse AMICI-5GT 120mm (10 fans in total w/aio cooler)
Then I have an AsiaHorse Lightsaber-X motherboard light strip
So the PC boots up and seems to start and run fine, but when I wake the pc up from sleep, all the fan rgb lights flash once, then the computer completely dies and shuts off without a noise, and then all of the fan lights continuously strobe in unison. I can unplug the power supply and plug it back in and they all just immediately keep strobing and won't let me power on the PC or do anything. The only way I found to reset it is unplugging one of the RGB headers. It then resets and I can turn on the PC, but it just happens again whether that header is left unplugged in or not.
I tried updating my bios to see if that would fix the problem and I can't even get the update to complete because on restart to finish the bios update the pc goes into that bricked state with flashing fan lights. No matter what I unplug from RGB headers this happens and I can't reset it. The only way to reset it in this instance and turn off the power to the psu for about 30 seconds and turn it back on again.
I checked and doublechecked all of my connections and everything is connected right. I am not a novice builder, I have been building PC's since the 90s and have never run into an issue like this.
I did send support emails to the mobo manufacturer and the psu manufacturer.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
