How much should a dealer make off a lease?

If I plan to lease a car, is it possible to strike a deal where the residual value plus total payments plus down payment equal the sale price of the vehicle? I know usually it will not, because the dealer makes money on top of the lease, but is it possible to get that sale price or close to it?
