Which one should I get

Hi there gang. I‘m coming from a 13“ MacBook Pro with 8 GB of RAM and an i5 with 1,7 GHz (I think). I wanna upgrade to an M3 or M4 MacBoom Air. The thing is, I don‘t know if I want an M3 with 24 Gigs of unified storage or an M4 with 16 gigs. Both are 512 SSD, so I‘d get two more E Cores with the M4, but the M3 is also a little cheaper. I‘d use the computer for standard uni stuff and maybe a little gaming (Minecraft and Terraria). Otherwise I code a little and have a decent amount of word processing to do.

I‘d like to go for the M3 (because it‘s cheaper and 24 gigs feels like more longevity) but I‘m afraid that the bottleneck might not be that serious with 16 Gigs of RAM. Any suggestions?
