8-Night Trip to Japan (First Time)

Hello fellow Japan travel enthusiasts.   I am very excited about my first upcoming trip to Japan. I’m traveling with a middle-aged disabled family member and hoping to get feedback on our tentative itinerary.  For context, my disabled family member walks with an ankle brace (FBO brace) and will likely need to take frequent breaks.  We’ll also be on the lookout for bathrooms as the medication they take will cause them the need to have access to a bathroom fairly frequently.

 ·       For the planned items below and given the context of my disabled family member, would you suggest obtaining multiple hotel rooms and if so, thoughts on the best locations based on the sequence of itinerary below?

 ·       Would you recommend changing the sequence below (either the full days or sequence of events within the days)?

 Day 1 – Arrive to Narita Airport (approx. 3pm)

Day 2 – Car Tour (tentative) – scheduled early in the trip to help contextual preference on whether to have repeat visits later in the trip

·       Meiji Jingu Shrine (Shibuya)

 Day 3 – Ginza

·       Tsukiji Fish Market

 Day 4 – Ueno and Askausa

·       Asakusa Culture and Tourist Information Center (Observation Deck)

 Day 6 – Shibuya
