Reapplying for Fall '26 | Would love feedback on my profile!

Hey everyone,
First off, congrats to everyone who received admits for Fall '25! I applied this cycle but unfortunately didn't make it. I'm planning to reapply for Spring '25 and would really appreciate any feedback on how I can improve my profile to increase my chances.

My profile:

• Undergrad: B.Tech from a Tier-1 NIT, CGPA: 9.4 with Honors
• Work Experience: 2 years at a FAANG company
• Achievements: Multiple hackathon wins
• GRE: Not taken
• TOEFL: 116

I'm particularly interested in systems for machine learning, which I mentioned in my SOP. However, I don’t have prior experience working on ML systems. Most of my work experience is with Data Engineering and backend development.

A couple of questions:

1. Would taking the GRE help strengthen my profile?
2. Should I revise my SOP to better align with my actual work experience?

Any suggestions, even small ones, would mean a lot. Thanks in advance!
