AITA for refusing to let my partner sleep in while I take care of our baby every morning?
So my partner and I have a 1-year-old. We both work remotely, but I’ve been the one consistently getting up early with the baby — every single morning — so my partner can “rest a bit more.”
At first, I didn’t mind. But after weeks of doing this solo, I’m exhausted. I finally asked if we could alternate mornings, and my partner got frustrated, saying they “need more sleep” to function and that I “seem to handle it fine anyway.”
I snapped and said this isn’t fair, and if I don’t get a break soon, I’ll burn out. Now they’re giving me the silent treatment and acting like I’m the selfish one.
AITA for demanding we share morning baby duty more equally?
