I'm worried Dead By Daylight is losing it's unique personality
With the changes to the quest system and the rarity colours along with the announcement of even more licenced content and less original content, not to mention the soon to be removal of The Compendium, its clear behaviour are trying to make this much more of just a "Fortnite for horror" instead of it's own unique game with some crossovers, while still keeping the core DBD feeling.
I've always been more excited for original content because the sky's the limit in terms of what they can do instead of just "the guy from the thing" and that's unfortunately becoming more common.
They've shown that they can make some really amazing and fun characters like Dredge, Singularity, Artist, Knight, Blight, Nurse and ESPECIALLY The Unknown so getting less chances for unique stuff really sucks.
I know that generally licenced content sells better, I just wish it was a bit more of an even split instead of it weighing more onto the licence side.
I know a lot of people are gonna disagree with me but eh, whatever. I just wanted to get my opinion out there, feel free to weigh in with your own.
