I have never had plants before and just got bought a Sarracenia I really need some help on what I do.

Help

The only thing I know about carnivorous plants is they don't like tap water but I did find out that I can use the water that is collected from my tumble dryer so I have saved up some of that.

This is what I have got at the moment

I saw that it likes to be stood in water 2-4cm so I put it in some but I know nothing about what type of pot to get, what size should I get, what type of soil should I get, how much to water and when. I don't even know how to re-pot a plant or when I should re-pot is.

I did want to get a pitcher plant one day as I like carnivorous plants but wasn't expecting one before I had chance to get ready.

If there are specific guides or channels I could check out for advice that you would recommend that would be great.

Just in case this information is needed the label says its a Sarracenia Purpurea Venosa and that the pot size is 8.5cm

P.S I have named it Rupert
