help: wireless mouse become unresponsive/laggy af when cpu and ssd are under load
i have a new gaming pc . a month or so after i got it we had a thunderstorm and it fried the ssd. as a measure of precaution, i got the whole motherboard changed as well at the same time, under warranty. but ever since, everytime the cpu and ssd are under loads , my wireless mouse and keyboard drops dead and is completely unresponsive, or works but with extreme lag and delayed input, until the task is done( for example while transferring a file from external ssd to internal or vice versa, or when downloading games from xbox live/steam) but i know it isnt the whole pc stuttering because i have my ps4 remote plugged in trough a 15ft cable and its touchpad acts as a mouse. and this one works flawlessly while the wireless one is completely dead..( the ps4's touchpad is just not working exactly like a real laptop trackpad , being extra sensible and jittery,so i can make things work but it isnt really useable long term. ) it didnt do that before the thunderstorm and subsequent change of motherboard/ssd chip. what could be causing all that? i tried putting the reciever in different usb ports, in a hub, at the front of the case, on the back directly in the motherboard.. still stutters when under any load
before you say "just use wired stuff" , i cant have wired mouse and keyboard unless you find me stuff with 15ft cables ,and event then... . i dont have place for a proper desk so i'm using the pc while sitting on the couch in the living room .. having cables all across the room would suck.
