Xanterra Retail yellowstone

Hi! I plan on applying for a retail position in yellowstone and was wondering if anyone on here has already worked there? Id love some insight on how hard it is to get around the park on your off days and whether or not you can go into town?

Im coming from nyc and would love to experience the western culture outside of company property and hiking. Thanks!!
