New RWRB fan

hello everyone! i’m Sam 👋🏾 i just wanted to say im very happy to be apart of this subreddit. and what a journey this book/film has been for me. i genuinely don’t think i’ve been this infatuated with a story/characters since i read/watched tfios when i was in middle school. and i think that feeling i got reading that book is what rwrb brings out of me. i remember when the trailer for rwrb came out and i saw it and completely dismissed it. i thought it looked too cheesy, even for me. but on a random Saturday last weekend (may 3rd) i was dog-sitting and decided to put it on because i was bored and looking for something to watch. and when i tell you, off the bat, i was hooked. yes, the dialogue can be a little cringe, but i think a lot of my favorite romance movies are like that. but the actual love that is presented in the story was just so beautiful 🥹 i immediately ordered the book from amazon that day and finished it yesterday, so within the week (i could’ve finished it sooner, but work and stuff lol). it does blow my mind how there were certain plots & characters cut from the movie, but the movie still turned out to be really good. i now watch it on loop because i love it so much. i’ve watched the bloopers, deleted scenes, interviews, fan videos, etc. you name it, i probably watched it 😂😭 my friend even told me she thinks it’s so funny how late i am. but hey! better late than never! i just said all of this to say, i’m happy i’ve gotten to experience alex and henry’s story and it’s truly made me love love again. sorry for the long post. very happy to be here with others who share my love for these characters. genuinely so excited for the sequel. i need it like…yesterday 😭 (also, shout out to brad evans on yt. his reaction to the movie legit made me pee myself from laughing. so hilarious 😂 check it out if you haven’t already)
