The Best French Press For Beginners
Thought I’d give my 2 cents for anyone who is in the market for a French press. I spent a good amount of time looking at different options, testing them out, and reading up on reviews. The best one to come out of all that research is the MuellerLiving French Press. The 34oz size is perfect for making a decent amount of coffee without being too bulky, and the double insulation keeps your coffee hot for a good while. One of the things I like is how versatile it is not just for coffee, but you can also use it for tea or hot chocolate if you're in the mood for something different.
The design is pretty straightforward, and the 4-level filtration system makes sure that your coffee doesn’t have a bunch of grounds floating around. It’s also super easy to clean, which is a huge plus, especially if you're not into spending too much time maintaining it.
I did look into a few other options like the Bodum or Secura French presses. The Bodum is great, but it’s kinda fragile, and Secura’s good for durability but doesn’t have the same insulation, so your coffee cools off faster. So it’s a bit of a trade-off.
