MA experience (positive)
I wanted to share my experience going through this whole process. I found out I was pregnant on April 21st, my period was a day late but I honestly knew already as I felt like the last two weeks I had felt very fatigued and was really irritated and easily annoyed by little things (how dare my partner roll over and breath on me). As soon as I saw the positive lines I made an appointment to start the process, I’ve been with my partner for around three years and we both knew that bringing a child into this world is not something we’re prepared to do financially or emotionally. I went in for a physical appointment on May 5 - which put me at 6 weeks. Everyone at the clinic was kind, professional, and educated. I was very grateful for the care I was provided. I picked up the medication and also got a prescription for T3’s to help with some of the pain. Fast forward to Friday night I took the mife. Woke up Saturday feeling quite nauseous (this wasn’t anything new) but that did slowly progress throughout the day. I ended up leaving work at 1 pm and came home. I called my healthcare provider asking if I could take the miso a few hours early and they gave the go ahead. At 130 pm I took two gravol, a T3, and some ibuprofen as well (also ok’d by my medical professional) the nausea went away. I grabbed my heat pad and got ready to go. I inserted four tabs of the miso at 2 pm. The cramps started around 330 pm but I was fairly drowsy and nothing out of the normal compared to my regular period cramps, I started bleeding and passing some larger clots. The cramps ramped up around 5pm and I felt low and intense pressure and ended up passing the pregnancy. The cramps continued but did taper off and around 730/8pm and felt more like a period again. I took a smaller dose of ibuprofen and gravol and went to bed. I woke up not nauseous and feeling like myself again - I can finally enjoy coffee without gagging and I’m thrilled. I hope this can help someone who is scared of going forward with this, I know everyone’s experience is going to be different but I’m sending you all the love and light I can.
