My musings on pepecoin the past year and predictions for the future

Serious

So, figured I'd offer my 0.02 cents on pepecoin. I don't have a massive bag of it (approximately 20M spread between two core wallets) but I've been sitting back and watching this subreddit since last summer and have a few tidbits I'd like to throw out here.

When this first got listed on xeggex, it was exciting. I was excited. I was actually dollar cost averaging into it every month and transferring to my core. It was fun, fast, cheap and exciting. This was in July to about September of 2024.

Then, the "trump bump". Suddenly, people started blindly fomoing in and the value skyrocketed. My tiny holding went up to nearly 30 grand which was a whirlwind.

Then, it was bad news after bad news. Trump coin, tariff BS, and then xeggex shutting down and many losing everything.

Then devs saying don't worry T1 coming, only to announce it was mexc, effectively killing the US trade market and cutting off any sort of potential new growth. The day it was listed on mexc it was 0.0007 and now we can barely hold 0.0002. Months of trading sideways on low volume shit exchanges.

Let's face it, we're all cooked if the devs can't get us on a proper T1 exchange asap. Everything is starting to pump again and we are getting left in the dust. The endless posts of "were the next dogecoin" and "1 cent incoming" with nothing backing it up are just nonsensical.

Now my 20M bag is worth roughly 4 grand. And I couldn't even sell it if I wanted to because there's no liquidity and I'd have to use a VPN.

Just know we had dev bags worth high 6 figures during the xeggex run up in Nov-Dec and they did nothing to further the growth of the project aside from saying "we have nothing to do with xeggex" when they went down. Funny thing is, we're doing even worse now than we were when xeggex was totally offline, pepecoin was 0.0004 back then and we can't even hold 0.0002 now for longer than a few days.
