Ludus AI - How I'd use it in Subzero Protocol

Hey everyone, I’m working on a UE5 prototype called Subzero Protocol, a narrative-driven sim/puzzle about a scientist uncovering a sinister penguin experiment. My core gameplay loop revolves around terminal-driven quests, penguin checkups, pipe puzzles, and branching moral choices.

🔹 How I’d Use Blueprint Generation:

  • Quest Logic Templates: Auto-generate node graphs for daily objectives with success/failure branches and UI bindings. Rather than wiring each “Check penguin → Solve pipe puzzle → Update journal” by hand, I’d prompt “Create daily loop blueprint” and get a reusable setup I can tweak per day.

  • Modular Pipe Puzzle Graphs: A tool that spits out a customizable pipe-routing Blueprint: input nodes, output nodes, timers, failure events, color-coded variables, all ready to drag into the level.

  • Dialogue & Choice Systems: Rapidly scaffold branching dialogues and choice-consequence chains. For example, “Generate blueprint for a 2-choice day-end report” would give me the UI widget, event dispatchers, and alignment meters.

🔹 Features I’d Love to See:

  1. Natural-Language Prompts → Blueprint Stubs: Describe “a mini-game that feeds the penguin and awards trust points,” and get a basic function library + UI widget hooked up.
  2. Auto-Wiring of Common Tasks: One click is needed to bind a new quest variable to save/load logic or to link a button click node to an event dispatcher.
  3. Versioned Blueprint Snippets: A marketplace-style panel where I can preview and import community-contributed “penguin AI,” “terminal UI,” or “pipe puzzle” graphs.

Blueprint generation like this would let me focus on improving the player experience and narrative beats, rather than plumbing nodes for every little feature. Would love to hear what you all think about this project that I'm developing! 😄
