Exhausted and grieving with a toddler
I just need to vent for a second. My husband died unexpectedly 3 months ago, we're both 35. Our daughter is almost 3 now. I love her so so so much but she is waking up all through the night - needing me to cover her up with her blanket, needing to go potty, needing a hug. I'm so exhausted. Grief is hard enough but when I'm tired it's even harder. The more tired I am the less patient I am in the middle of the night, and that just makes everything worse. Sleep regressions were always hard but doing it completely alone is even harder. My kid is not the type to let anyone else put her to bed or comfort her. It's just me. And I'm so exhausted. It's so hard. I keep telling myself it will pass but it's so so so so hard.
