Why do they hate their caregivers?

My mom has become absolutely VISCIOUS to my dad. She's not violent yet, but it's horrible. She fights him on everything. We're going to tour a memory care facility today because he's done, and they both want me to have my own life. It's going to be horrible but for the best.

In the meantime, I've promised I will take her to talk to "someone" about getting a "divorce" tomorrow. Lord help us.
