New to this

Hello, I'm 25F and new to this. I'm really curious to try this lifestyle but I’ve never been in a relationship. I want to have an emotional connection before the physical one but the first arrangement that I got is intimate so I feel like I won't get arrangements that don't require intimacy in person and the only thing I've done so far is phone sex with someone I met on an online game. Do you think it’s still okay for me to continue exploring this lifestyle or would it be better for me to try having a regular relationship first? If I want to continue, do you have any advice?
