Would you trade in a Forester Wilderness for a Buzz?

We have a '22 Forester Wilderness as our only car, use it to get to mountains, tow our 1500 lb trailer to camp 5-10x a year, but mostly metro driving in reality. It's a great city sized all around rounder, with AWD and tight turning, but the gas mileage in the city is killing me at 19.5 mpg avg. We want to get a van eventually, but wonder if I should compel myself sooner rather than later, especially if the $7500 lease rebate gets killed by the GOP.
