Everything wrong with Indian Cricket and IPL fans as an English fan, feel free to disagree in the comments

The use of "kid" as an insult. Somehow this is top of my list but it's just really (for the lack of a better word) cringe and I think put off a lot of foreign fans from engaging in discussion about cricket with you on social media. At least think of a creative insult rather than calling someone a child. Hey I'll give you lot one: Plonker.

Kohli-Dhoni-Rohit divide and debate. From an English perspective it is pretty clear Kohli is the best out of the three but Dhoni was the best captain and Rohit was a world class player particularly in ODIs. That doesn't mean you lot insult each other and defend each of them like they're part of your religion and the other two are devils. You should support all of them and not blame for defeat or celebrate their defeat (e.g. blaming Dhoni for his excellent kniw in the 2019 wc semi final or celebrate the 2023 WC final loss [Dhoni fans]).

A lack of loyalty to local teams. All I see are RCB, CSK and MI fans on the regular. There should be far more Delhi fans and you should support your local city teams (I know some of you don't live in IPL cities). It's how football over here became a cultural phenomenon with rich history and throughout the globe.
There's defo some more but these are the 3 biggest and most crucial.
