Fleshing out the Math Medic Algebra 1 Curriculum?
So I've taught Algebra 1 now for several years (often at smaller schools where I end up with 4 unique classes to prepare for. A few years I taught Physics, Statistics, Pre-Calc and Algebra, so my capacity to plan was stretched very thin).
In the past, I've always used the curriculum/textbook that was provided, and supplemented with activities I've picked up over the years.
This school year, I'm using Gina Wilson's All Things Algebra curriculum. But I've noticed it has some gaps and the pacing is a little rough on an A-day/B-day schedule. I have been assigning homework through DeltaMath and writing my own assessments.
Next year, I'd like to use Math Medics algebra 1 curriculum, but it's very new to me. Any recommendations for how to flesh it out? Other resources to use? I'm leaning towards continuing with DeltaMath for homework because it makes it very easy to build in some spiral review. Thanks.
