I NEED HELP: Punch clock needs server-side software

I've searched everywhere and can't find a single bit of information. The company that provides the service is charging us almost $1,200 a month for a simple website to see who has clocked in. The time clock is ours and what we want is to be able to host the server part in the company.

Why did they assign me such a strange task? I don't know. They think that because I'm from IT I have all the answers, but that's not the case. Someone help me.
