EBF baby who is a complete Velcro
My 2nd baby is definitely a Velcro. I thought my first was clingy but this time around my baby can barely be set down to play. I've been just going with it for the past 4 months, but it's starting to get to the point where I cant get anything done. Our house is a wreck and I can barely take any time to cook, and I am having a hard time finding time to even take care of myself. I'm trying not to let her rule our household but her screams and crying kills my heart! I do have her in a carrier most of the day, but I would like to get her to the point where she can at least sleep on her own at night. I did the Ferber method with my first and she took to it amazingly! She slept on her own within days and barely cried, but my 2nd will just scream and scream. She refuses to take a pacifier or a taggie so I'm not sure how to calm her down during the check in other than to hold her but it takes longer than a minute or two to calm her down. She's doing about 1 hour to an hour and a half of WW. No designated times yet because she is EBF so she's on the boob a lot. Our bedtime routine is to get in bed and to take off her onesie, clean her bottom, put on diaper cream, put on her owlet sock, and finally put her in her sleep sack (we use a starfish).
