Is my vegan diet slowing down my development?
I was chatting with a friend the other day and for context we started HRT around the same time. Next month will be one year for me and she started only a month after I did.
I mentioned that my estradiol levels were too high on my last test results and that I'd be dialing down my shot dose a bit. She expressed wanting to switch to shots because her levels are consistently lower than she wants on tablets.
I couldn't help but notice that her body is much more developed than mine is. She has noticeable breasts, thicker thighs etc. I have sore nips, but not a tiddy to speak of and my pants all fit the same they did a year ago.
I understand that comparison is the thief of joy, and I wouldn't really say that I'm jealous in any way. I'm very happy for her and I think that she looks great. It's just a difference I couldn't help but notice given that we started around the same time.
I brought this up with a partner and she mentioned that my vegan diet is probably a factor in that. It's a great point that I didn't consider.
I'm wondering if other vegans have had similar experiences. I'd also love some recommendations of what I can add to my diet to get some fat on this body.
Thanks!
