My divorce lawyer is a sociopath

Custody Divorce and Family

Hi everyone!

I was going through a divorce last year. And I unfortunately had a really bad divorce, my lawyer was good, but he seemed like he had anger issues, he did not get along with the judge, and I feel like the results I should have gotten were ultimately worse than what I got just based off of my lawyer and the judge not getting along, he frequently argued with and got yelled at by the judge often.

A couple weeks ago, it made the news that my lawyer was arrested for making threats, choking his paralegals, talking every day of killing my exes attorney on a daily basis, even going as far as saying he knew the floor plans to her house, he was arrested with body armor and what could be described as an arsenal of weapons. He even talked about blowing up the courthouse

If I feel like his actions and biases played a part in how the divorce played out, could I talk to the law firm and ask them to represent me in filing an appeal? Or is my case set in stone?
