[Only for those born in 1999 and 2000] Do you notice any differences between parents born in the 60s and parents born in the 70s, since some of us have parents from the 60s and others from the 70s or a combination?

Discussion

I was born on December 15, 1999 and my father was born in 1967 and my mother in 1966, so I guess it's the Jones generation.

Anyway, it's between late boomers and generation x and I notice that they have some characteristics of generation x such as overprotection, authority, aggressiveness (like raising your voice, shouting, etc.), skepticism, overprotection, criticism of the time I spend on the computer, without recognizing my participation in household chores and work and helping out (since my mother doesn't ask and refuses to help and complains to me and my father at night that we don't help her), selfishness, neglect, sarcasm, difficulty in asking for help and complaining at night that neither I nor my father help, ect (mother), but also some boomers tendencies like liberalism (if I'm not wrong), thoughts that women rule the house, not giving me something when pressed by my mother, but giving it to me, telling my mother to let me choose and not overprotect me, defending me from my mother by telling her not to yell at me, understanding, ect (father), but it's very rare that when I disobey my father, he appears to have a generation x characteristic like “don't pressure” or have a tone of voice that I don't like that makes me cry (I'm mild asperger) and I grew up in an overprotective, aggressive environment, with no room for error on the part of my overprotective mother.

My mother likes Abba, Avril Lavigne, and romantic music, while my father likes Pink Floyd, Nirvana, and bands from the 60s, 70s, and 2000s, since both were influenced by the culture of boomers in the 60s and 70s, generation X in the 80s, and millennials in the 2000s.

What are your parents born in the 60s and 70s like, if you have any?

Sorry for the rant

PS- Both my father, born in 1967, and my mother, born in 1966, interact so much with those born in the 60s, 70s and 80s.
