Oru yathra pova

Hi all, I’m planning a short trip (1-2 days) with family to escape this choodu kaalam! Was thinking of Munnar or Ooty since they’re classic chill spots, but open to other suggestions too. The main aim is to cool off and just have a nice, relaxing time with the fam.

But honestly, planning with family is a bit different from going with friends – can’t just wing it and go full road trip mode! Need to be a bit cautious with timings, stay, food etc. So thought subreddit-il chodikam before finalising anything.

Few things: • Duration: 1-2 days max • Budget: not fixed yet, but nothing too extravagant • Preferred vibe: pleasant weather, scenic views, maybe a few light activities or places to see (nothing too hectic) • Good places to stay? Any hidden gems? • Things to avoid when going with family?

Would love to hear your suggestions – be it Munnar, Ooty or any other “family-friendly + chill weather” places within a reasonable travel distance from Kerala. Also if anyone’s done a similar trip recently, please drop your itinerary or tips!
