would it be weird to follow my “long lost” brothers instagrams?

I recently came across 2 accounts on instagram of 2 boys that i’m 100% sure are my little brothers from my dad’s ex girlfriend. i haven’t seen them since i was around 8 and they were maybe like 4 and 2? i think they’re like 16 and 18 now but i really doubt they would remember me.. i barely remember them :(

i tried following the younger one when i found his account for the first time last year but i chickened out and unfollowed after like 12 hours. i tried to forget about them (because our dad sucks and their mom moved on) but i went back to find them again and it’s been stuck in my head for like a month now

would it be weird for me to follow them both on instagram? would you guys be weirded out if you randomly remembered you had a big sister?
