Blaster’s and long gun’s

So how do two handed guns work now?(post update) I don’t own the game but didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t have a different blaster or long gun I understand the smuggler stance(one gun thing) yada yada but I want to experience the longer guns that bounty hunter and the like use etc.. also are they customizable? Also off-topic question can you hunt bounties?
