Best places to stay? Visiting from the UK

Planning a trip to a game later in the year (either Vols or Florida State) and I’m also a Jags fan so looking to do Gators on the Saturday then Jags on the Sunday. There I’m looking for places to stay that are good for getting to both Gainesville and Jacksonville on game day. I’ll be flying into Orlando but then renting a car so anything drivable is fine. Just wanted to see where people thought would be good?

Slightly related I’m a big sports card collector so anywhere with a good local card shop would be a bonus! Also any local knowledge about game day etc would be appreciated.
