Avenger fabric/leather strap durability ?

I’m a huge fan of the avenger and am thinking about getting one. I’m not sure if i want the steel or fabric strap. Looking online i can’t find reviews about long term durability of the fabric.

Does anyone have experience with how it holds up to sweat , water , dirt? Does it get gross and beat up quickly if I use it as a “adventure” watch i.e outdoorsy stuff?
