Seeking to gain a level
Hello All, hope you’re having a great day.
A little about myself, I’ve been in ROC DM for soon to be 2 years to date and have loved the job since starting it. It’s a job I managed to find myself excel in and I have a lot of passion in my work.
On top of doing my daily tasks, I’ve built a portfolio in going above my day to day duties. My manager ranked me as ‘highest performer’ in my annual Forte. My most recent project I came up with had a cost saving aspect that saves the department around £100 every few weeks - backed up by data. I’m able to find various ways to Think Big (Process Improvements), and go Above and Beyond my role I can proudly say.
However, I struggle landing any interviews for L4 jobs on Internal Jobs - which leaves me confused in the sense of what is being expected from me.
For Sole Contributor L4 roles, I have a portfolio of initiating Process Improvements with data to back up the success stories. I would think this favours me to at least get some interviews spread across… but not.
And in terms of, People Management while I don’t have exact L4 experience - I have trained near 20 new AA’s to high performance standards. This gave me essential experience in managing a team and being held responsible for team output. Once again backed with data… but not enough to get one interview in People Management roles (ROC, OPS, etc.)
I’ve messaged Hiring Managers when applying for roles giving a brief introduction of myself and they seem impressed stating they look forward to reviewing my CV and good luck. But I still do not get any interviews.
Can anyone offer any guidance?
