24M Looking to Make Friends in the Area!

I'm a 24y/o gay man in the Brighton area. Moved here about 3 years ago now. Open to friends of all backgrounds and walks of life so long that we have some common ground.

Things I am broadly into:

• Games - I pretty frequently play stuff online with my friends, but none are based in MA. I'm pretty open whether it be single-player experiences or multiplayer. I've been spending my time on the Oblivion Remaster and Expedition 33 lately, but I will hop on OW or Marvel Rivals to hang out with friends. I have also played FFXIV on and off for about a decade, but my interest is waning lol. I also collect some "retro" console stuff; just recently modded a 3DS and replaced my childhood PS2, so I've been enjoying some classics in that vein. TCG stuff is nice, but I don't really have the attention span to keep up with metas or things of that nature, so I don't play them often.
• Art - I mess around with digital art every now and then, but am also open to other forms of art/crafting. I want to get into sewing eventually for fashion-related things. I've been looking at some local classes, but haven't pulled the trigger.
• Museums - Not much to say on this one lol, I like museums (selective on the historical front, but like anything related to art)
• Music - I am loosely involved with some of the local underground music. I was going to the Cantab for their digital hardcore/breakcore adjacent shows for a while, but it seems the scene is reshaping based on the new gen of college kids. Been to a few basement punk shows, but kind of out of the loop, since it's mostly college-based as well. Open to seeing new things and hearing new kinds of music. Recently saw Ichiko Aoba as well at Berklee and that was just *chefs kiss*
• Sports/Athletics - I'm not too athletic of a person, but I did do crew/rowing while in school and have been thinking about picking that up again. I would also be interested in making friends to hold each other accountable at a gym-- whether that be the traditional flavor or the climbing kind.
• Cafe/Restaurant Exploring - I really love finding hole-in-the-wall kinds of places and spending time there. Whether it's a cafe, or a really overlooked restaurant, it's one of my favorite things. I try and get out to try new places, but often feel awkward going alone. It would be nice to have someone to join me. Although, admittedly, I don't care much for drinking culture. I would join you if it has good food, though!
• Flea Markets/Thrifting - Very big on finding artist halls, thrift stores, antique shops, etc.! Adjacently into fashion and upcycling.
• Astronomy - I have no formal education or training in this one, but I recently reconnected with it after focusing on my career, and have rediscovered my love for this realm of knowledge. I just kind of read things online rather than being versed in telescopes or the actual physics of things, but I would love to learn. I do have some experience with physics/mathematics, so I can understand things on the conceptual level, but again, never went beyond a 101-level education on any of it.
• Renfaire/LARP-adjacent things - I don't particularly enjoy roleplaying myself, but I do like seeing what other people can come up with and craft especially in fantasy and sci-fi settings (If any Jenny Nicholson enjoyers are reading this, you can thank her videos on Evermore and the SW Hotel for opening my eyes to this kind of stuff). I'd love to tag along (albeit not in cosplay) if anyone is looking for a +1 to any of these kinds of events.
• Dolls - Veryyyyy niche and I doubt this will really hook anyone here, but I am very into dolls and miniature collecting! I am mostly into BJD's these days, but if you are also into this sort of thing and out there, I'd love to meet up and find places to take cute photoshoots. (The desire to sew stems from this also)

So, yeah! That's a brief overview of me. I'm a little shy and introverted (which is why I'm here, I guess), but I open my shell up around the right people. Especially other queer people or women. Not to say that I am not interested in being friends with men, though. I'm not particularly interested in drinking culture, but will go out to the bar with you if you just want a body to take up space. 420 friendly though.
