Why is everyone price gouging?

What is going on with these price spikes on trade markets?? It feels like the majority of people have absurd asks, you’d think it was actual money. I like to set fair prices and just work towards getting trades done so I can collect Discogs bc this is an APP and these songs don’t have actual real world value 😂 Idk the immaturity of the market is turning me off this game
