Hello everyone, before I start talking, I wanted to say that I have never made a post like this and hope I am posting on the correct subreddit.

Anyways, time for my mini story.

On Reddit I am normally pretty chill, as I am just into FNaF and Minecraft stuff. I typically just leave nice comments congratulating people on their hard work. Anyways, I wouldn’t consider this comment mean, but this post was titled R/evilautism so I figured it was the perfect time to leave an r/foundthemobileuser comment (note: I also use mobile). I never want to hurt anyones feelings but I figured this comment was just sort of a funny one as I constantly get suggested the subreddit r/foundthemobileuser. At first, my comment got three upvotes and I was happy to know that I didn’t offend anyone. However, my comment started receiving massive hate. I have gotten comments to “kill my self” and to visit porn subreddits all because of a lighthearted joke. I have no clue what I did wrong, I normally stay away from “mainland” reddit and just stick to videogame related subreddits. I know I don’t have the thickest skin, but I can’t believe people are telling me to end my own life over a comment, this is crazy!

What can I do next time to not be hated, and am I the buttface?

TLDR: Commented r/foundthemobileuser, have started receiving lots of hate and comments to “kill yourself” and porn related subreddit links.
