AITAH for taking my child out of school because his teacher was trans?

Ok, I know how this sounds, but here me out. So basically, I, 42 (male) have a son, 5, (male). We recently moved to Florida from Texas, Myself and my wife, 19 enrolled our son in the best christian school in our area, back in Texas we would go to church 3 times a week as we are a very christian family and want our son to grow up religious and into a lovely young man. My son was enjoying his new school and came home everyday happy and occasionally came home with drawings/paintings with religious themes. Myself and my wife were delighted with this new found life and had no worries about the school we had chosen, until last week we went to our very first school meeting and met with all the teachers and I also had a chat with some of the parents, they were all lovely people, which made this a hard decision for me. We went into my son’s classroom to meet teacher, as soon as I entered the room I lightly jumped when i seen his teacher was a clear man in a dress. Before we even started speaking about my son, he started waffling about how they are pro LGBTQ, that’s when I realised all the rainbow drawings and paintings on the wall. I then asked the teacher to remind me what HIS name was, he instantly snapped back and said something along the lines of “I am a female” I then told him he isn’t a female and never will be. then me and my wife got up and left. My son will most definitely not be returning to this school. My wife thinks I went too far, but I’m not sure, so AITAH?
