I misunderstood how random text works and I'm feeling miserable

I thought how it works was we set a number of random characters,then the block is enforced until we type that number of random characters. So if I set 20,000, I'll have to type 20,000 characters of code before I can play my favourite game again.

I thought it was the absolutely perfect solution for productivity, how a fixed amount of effort is immediately rewarded, great for conditioning. I got excited because the productivity struggles I've been facing for about a decade now would finally come to end.

But of course that's now how it works. And the notion of going back to my unproductive mediocre self is making me miserable. Please, if you have any idea how I could achieve this setup let me know. I'd do anything for this feature. Anything
