Glute and hip pain, hair loss

Ever since starting tirzepatide I’ve had pretty intense pain in my glutes and hips. I’m going very slow with my dose only going up micro doses at a time…I’m currently at 2 mg. Everything I read says it’s probably due to increased activity or muscle loss but my activity level has stayed the same for years (lots of Pickleball and Pilates) and I’ve only lost 10 lbs over 3 months as I wanted to go slow. I’m certain the pain is from the medication and disappointed that people are so quick to discount this as a side effect.

Same with hair loss!! I do not think my hair loss is from weight loss as I’ve purposefully gone very slow but the hair loss was sudden and intense, within a week of starting the medicine!

I just wanted to add my experience for others who search this and get dismissed. You’re not crazy!
