Broken Side Mirror

Gents,

When I go to any store I always try to park far away in the spots no one else wants to minimize scratches and dings. Well yesterday when I parked I folded in my power mirrors as usual and someone decided to walk by and force the one on my driver side open, and now that side won’t close.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so do you know how to fix it? I tried to push it back in myself but it doesn’t want to go in and I don’t want to lean hard on it because I may make it worse. Thanks in advance!
