Live Track Never Re-Connects

My wife and I have been using Live Track for 3 years or so on activities with no issue. The last 3 months or so, can't remember exactly, Live Track looses connection after about 15-20 minutes and never re-establishes. This is using the same hardware and in the same (multiple) locations. I have Fenix 5X+ and my wife has a Forerunner 45S. The firmware on both devices is up to date and Connect is also up to date.

Anyone else experiencing similar, or is this Garmin's way of trying to get us to upgrade?
