Forerunner 965 crash during round-trip navigation

Forerunner 965 crash during round-trip navigation + YouTube Music (FW 23.20) – anyone else?

Hi all,

I’m experiencing a recurring issue with my Garmin Forerunner 965 (software version 23.20) and wondering if anyone else has seen the same.

When I plan a round-trip route using the Round-Trip Course feature (for example, a 14 km run) and start the navigation during a run, the navigation crashes after a few minutes. The course disappears and it seems like the navigation just stops or crashes entirely.

This seems to happen especially when I’m playing offline music through the YouTube Music app at the same time. Without music, it sometimes works fine — but with music, the crash is almost guaranteed.

Is this a known issue? Anyone else experiencing this? And does anyone know of a workaround or fix?

Thanks in advance!
