CarPlay and MagSafe?

Anyone have issues with their apple magsafe charging in Nissans? It charges for a little bit, then shuts off for a little bit, then charges again. I had it connected to apple play with the GPS on and even though my phone was charging during the drive, it didn’t charge more than like 5% when I got out of the car. It was connected for about 1.5 hours.
