Overheated and now no charge

So today I played with my deck all morning, put it into rest mode at 100% battery with no game running at all in the background. Drove to my girlfriend’s house and took it out to play and it was the hottest I’ve ever felt it before, too hot to even handle.

Managed to turn it off and get it to cool down for about 45 minutes before getting it to boot back on and it was magically at 45%. Now it won’t charge at all and I’ve been trying to get it to charge for the last hour or so. Tried all the tricks Google has said to try I have no idea what’s going on or what happened.

I’m fairly certain I’m still within the 1 year warranty period and sent out a troubleshooting message. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.
