Kitten behaviour

Hi everyone. I’m hoping someone here will be able to offer me advice. I have a 6 week old kitten called Eli.

Everything has been great except from one thing. I accept that as a kitten sometimes the give u a bite as a way of affection etc but he’s actually attacking me feet and legs, doesn’t do it anywhere else on me. I’ve seen a lot of advice saying to distract them with a toy and I have tried this but he doesn’t have any interest if my feet / legs are there. He has drawn blood a few times with his bites. The only thing I haven’t tried is getting him neutered but the vet says he isn’t old enough yet.

They only way I can get him to stop is by pushing him off me , even at that I need to do it several times before he stops, and I really don’t like doing that feels a bit aggressive to me.

I really don’t know what else to do to discourage him from doing this. I don’t know if it’s something I have done wrong since getting him or if it’s just a cat thing.
