Gc messages disappearing/removed by themselves?

When in a gc, out of nowhere as I clicked the refresh/new message button during slow mode and it just stood on the "..." for a while so I opened and closed the app.

When I went back there was no new message let alone the previous one, as if it had been wiped.

Anyone else dealing with this bug?
