2 months post Microdiscectomy Pain
I am 2 months post Microdiscectomy of L5-S1 and I am feeling a pinching pain. I am a graduate student and was graduating and moving all within the month that I had my surgery so it made this entire process a lot to handle and to keep on top of my PT. I had to be sitting a lot even when I wasn’t supposed to be sitting as much but I was in the last month of my 3 year masters program so like I didn’t have a lot of a choice. And now I’m 2 months post surgery attempting to keep on top of my exercises and I’m feeling ALOT of pain and have started to waddle again after sitting down. Sitting for a movie is so painful now and I’m experiencing pinching. Not nearly a painful as before and it’s not shooting down but it is a bit sharp and very uncomfortable and doesn’t allow me to sit for very long periods of time and make me not walk very well afterwards. I’m in my 20s and before alll of this I was very very active and have always been. Is this normal? I am between doctors right now and I really am getting nervous about this pain 2 MONTHS post surgery increasing each day.
