Having high kills but low damage as psylocke?

As a pretty new player to the game, I recently started learning psylocke, and something I’ve noticed in nearly all my wins is that I’d get a good amount of kills, around the 20s, but I’d have a fairly low damage output, usually 5-6k. It seems kinda uncharacteristic of a dps, and I’m just wondering if I’m doing anything wrong. I feel like I spend a lot of my time tryna stick with my healers and poke from a distance, but I try to flank every now and then to take out some of their supports and longe range dps. I feel like my accuracy also isn’t great (it’s been high 20s to low 30s), which id attribute partially to my not great aim on controller, but also because psylockes attack fans out like a shotgun, so if im poking from a distance, not all of it is gonna hit. What are somethings I can be doing better, and is that damage output super low?
