Is there NO GAME FILES AT ALL we can modify to give us our arm back after the croakmaw?

I don'tk now man, I lost mya rm, didn't notice I lost it for literally an eight hour playthrough that was mostly me just talking to NPCs in Cuanacht and reading lore, then next day noticed my arm was gone, but I only noticed right after that Hollow Shell quest got accepted , so i figured that was from the "hollow" debuff, and I had to do that quest to get mya rm back.

To top it off, I don't really hard save a lot or quikc save since the game auto saves every three minuts, so to reload back to when I had my arm is six levels ago, and over ten hours of gameplay. What a garbage system.

There HAS to be SOMEEWAY to modify the game files to fix this, right? Like Skyrim or something. Just remove that code or something rom the files, I don't know man.
