Unmatched 2021 IMG (starting to lose hope)

I’m a 2021 non-US IMG. Applied to internal medicine this cycle, got four interviews including one pre-match invite. Didn’t get the offer. Didn’t match.

When the results came out, I was devastated. Everyone I knew matched. I couldn’t understand why I didn’t, and it hit me hard.

I had U.S. experience and decent letters, but I know being an older grad is a red flag. This was the last year I felt I might not be seen as "too old", and now even that’s gone.

I’m starting to lose hope. I don’t know if there’s any chance left.

Would really appreciate any honest advice. My stats are P/260 and a couple of publications.
