How does one start a Weiss Schwarz collection?

I’m completely new to TCG, so excuse my lack of knowledge. But I see that WS has a bunch of different sets for different anime

Do most people just buy one set of each of the different card sets they offer (like 1 Nikke booster box, 1 Chainsaw Man booster box, etc)

Or do most people just buy multiple booster boxes of a given set? (Like 3-4 Nikke)?

I’m mainly looking to collect, but I’m not a hardcore collector
